XL Equine conduct interactive Biosecurity sessions at the BHS Welfare Conference

On Friday 23rd May, XLEquine participated in the BHS Welfare conference held at Bristol Vet School, attended by almost 80 delegates from the equine industry.

The topic “Biosecurity and Infectious diseases” fitted perfectly with the recently launched Plan.Prevent.Protect campaign.

Mark Tabachnik from Wright and Morten and Dr Emma Batson, XLEquine Business Manager hosted an interactive afternoon session of on-yard scenarios, asking the attendees to spot biosecurity issues and discuss what they would do to change them and reduce the risk of a disease outbreak.
